After the respite on Gudi Padwa, traffic snarls returned with a vengeance on Thursday, offering no relief to commuters heading to work and restricting movement of emergency vehicles. Bumper-to-bumper traffic was witnessed right from the morning at Porvorim and along D B Marg in Panaji. The logjam, which continued till evening, even saw an ambulance stuck in a snarl on D B Marg cross over the median and drive towards oncoming traffic just to get to its destination in time.
