Even as traffic snarls in Panaji and Porvorim show no signs of abating, authorities appear to have finally moved to open the Ponda-Panaji ramp. Although the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) got it ready earlier this week, it wasn’t open for traffic, resulting in jams at the Merces junction.
