After being delayed for over a year, the Goa intelligent city management system (GICMS) is getting ready to go live, with Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) issuing instructions to L&T to begin trials. The integrated command and control centre (ICCC) at Altinho, which has been set up as part of the Smart City Mission, will give authorities the ability to manage traffic in real time while also keeping a watch on crime and public amenities.
