Portuguese passport sought as few jobs in Goa: Class X paper

In a major goof-up that has left the Goa Board shamefaced, a sentence in Saturday’s Class X English language paper stated that Goans are opting for Portuguese passports as it is difficult to get a job in the state without use of influence or bribing. By Sunday evening, the question paper had gone viral online and many, including NRI commissioner Narendra Sawaikar, called for the paper setter and chief of paper-setters’ panel to be debarred from all public exam work in the future.
