Indian adventurer and sailor Abhilash Tomy has become the first Asian to complete the epic 30,000 mile Golden Globe Race, the longest endurance race on the planet. Tomy sailed across the finish line at France’s Les Sables d’Olonne on Saturday morning bringing to an end a nearly eight-month audacious expedition across oceans and around the great capes.
