The state government was left red-faced and forced to backtrack after it was roundly criticised for publishing a list of eminent leaders that had CM Pramod Sawant in it, but omitted the names of Goa’s first CM Dayanand Bandodkar and India’s first PM Jawaharlal Nehru.
