After recording a nearly nine per cent rise in road accidents last year, strict enforcement of rules by the traffic police since the start of 2023 appears to have paid dividends. Director general of police (DGP) Jaspal Singh on Friday said that accidents declined by 12% this February when compared to the same period last year.
