All Taj hotels in Goa will have their own bottling plants within one year: Vincent Ramos

In a major step towards reducing its carbon footprint and the use of plastic water bottles, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), which operates hotels under the Taj brand, has decided to build dedicated bottling plants at each of its resorts in Goa. IHCL, which is the hospitality arm of the Tata Group, has adopted one local bakery per hotel in an attempt to integrate with the local community and sustain local livelihoods, said senior vice-president for Goa, Vincent Ramos.
